I spent 15 years in the startup ecosystem as a founder and later on as a business angel and coach. In 2019 the time felt right to return to my roots which are in venture capital. The key moment for me was when I realized how powerful and superior an investment approach can be applying data-driven analytics. And already at that time, Redstone was at the forefront of developing such a solution.

Together with my colleagues I set up and manage sector funds. One of the main responsibilities has been to create and run a VC fund focussing on the transformation of the health industry.

Almost every innovation has the potential to impact our lives positively. The question is how we as a society can foster these effects whilst controlling the downside impact which comes along with almost every innovation.

By doing anything that takes my full attention, like blue water sailing, spending two weeks on a canoe trip through the remote Canadian wilderness, or simply surviving a pirate battle with my three kids.
